We are currently seeking a Residential Solar Electrician. We are looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to the installation and setup of residential solar electric systems and oversee electrical crews for all residential projects. Current and valid Residential Electrical License for Colorado Preferred! This will be an office based role.

Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (40-50 hrs/week)

Shift: Monday – Friday (Flex Friday shift)

Pay: Based off of experience & license

Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation and repairs for electrical equipment for PV Solar Installations and managing electricians and crews in an office setting
• Understand how to properly connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Review and effectively troubleshoot to identify hazards or malfunctions, and repairs
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Residential Electrical License for Colorado (Journeyman Preferred)
• Have 2+ years of PV Solar Residential Installation Experience
• Diploma or equivalent education preferred
• Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience in solar is a plus but not required
• Have your own hand tools and ability to use them (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.)
• Thorough knowledge of NEC code and reading electrical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent physical condition and willingness to climb ladders, stand on roofs, and meet other physical demands of the job
